Description
The Waterproof DS18B20 digital temperature sensor is designed for accurate temperature monitoring in wet or outdoor environments. It supports a wide measuring range of –55 °C to +125 °C (–67 °F to +257 °F), with ±0.5 °C accuracy between –10 °C and +85 °C. The sensor communicates over a simple 1-Wire® bus, which allows multiple sensors to be connected on the same line, reducing cabling complexity in distributed monitoring systems.
Each sensor comes with a unique 64-bit serial code stored in onboard ROM, enabling precise identification in multidrop applications. The rugged waterproof probe is 7 mm in diameter and 26 mm long, with a 1-meter cable for easy installation.
With a supply voltage range of 3.0 V to 5.5 V and a compact TO-92 case for direct PCB mounting, this sensor is ideal for marine systems, industrial monitoring, HVAC, and environmental sensing applications.
